My God is a Gardener

Welcome to the blog My God is a Gardener. Please allow me to explain the name My God is a Gardener, the first reason is in the book of John 15:1

"I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. NIV

We call Him with different names, others based on how they know him personally. Others call him Jehovah Jireh because they have seen him provide. Others call him Jehovah Rapha because he healed them from their sickness. As I do my garden, I have heard him speak to my heart about many things, and maybe because of my love for gardening, he usually uses planting to teach me or answer some of my questions.

In the bible, we have a lot of scriptures where He teaches us many things using planting. For example, the book of 1 Corinthians 3 verse 7 So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.

OR

Mark 4 verse 27 and he goes to bed at night and gets up by day, and the seed sprouts and grows—how, he does not know.

OR

Ecclesiastes 11:4, Matthew 13:18, Mark 4:8 or John 4:37, and many more

Yes! I have seen him provide for me. I have experienced his peace that surpasses all understanding. I have also seen him as a good gardener. His word is a seed, and I am the soil. I am the plant He prunes so that I can produce more fruits.

The objective of the blog is to share the word of God, the lessons learned from the great gardener. Literally as in spade, soil, and plants, and figuratively as me and you as the garden, and how God tends to us. We are the clay in the potter's hands. He is constantly working on changing us to be like him.

Enjoy
