Jade Plant: lesson two

Jade plant: lesson two

Remember last week I narrated how I wanted to throw away my Jade plant because I thought that it was dead. But it rained before I could throw it away and the plant “resurrected” I love Jade plants; God has taught me valuable lessons through them. Another lesson I have learned from Jade plant was to never judge people because of their current situation. The bible says in John 3:8

8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

Never look at a person and conclude about their future, God has a plan.  What you see is subject to change, someone said what you see has already expired. Love people and always try to see them from God's perspective, it’s amazing how He always sees good in us. Maybe as the creator he believes so much in us because he knows what He deposited in us even when we don’t.

The Gardener always has a purpose for everything he does or creates. Jade plant “the one I wanted to throw away” works as an air purifier for things like wall paints, polishes, glues, and fire retardants that emit volatile organic compounds like formaldehyde, acetone, benzene, and toluene inside a house that can be very harmful. According to a New York State University research, a jade plant can remove these VOCs. The withered plant just needed water, other people just need a little encouragement and support

4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!

Ezekiel 37: 4

Give someone hope today, who has been told so many times that they won’t make it. Tell them they will make it, tell them it is possible, water them with hope and positivity. Maybe you’re the one who needs the encouragement, IT IS POSSIBLE and YOU CAN MAKE IT. It might not look like it now, remember I also thought of throwing the Jade plant away. But the is hope and hope in our Lord Jesus never disappoints.

  1. These guys - plants - act in sync with their nature. They align with the laws governing their species. So whether there is a virus or any other situatio n, they continue doing what they are created to do: Grow and flourish.
