If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation

2 Corinthians 5 verse 17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Each time a phone malfunctions, I usually just reset it to factory setting. It might be due to a virus or something that went wrong. If I try to fix it and I can’t get it right, I just reset it to factory setting.

The above for me is Christianity simplified, we are born into sin and sometimes very bad things happen to people; rape, loss of a loved one, betrayal or abuse etcetera. Things that make people change from their original being. Have you ever found yourself vowing I will never help people again, or I will never make the mistake of trusting someone because you trusted and you got burned badly? You took a lip of faith and loved someone and now your scars live to tell the tale.

When Christ comes into our lives he makes all things new, if you open yourself up to him and allow him to press that reset to factory setting button. In Ezekiel 11 verse 19 he says “I will give them a new heart and a new mind” Allow him to make all things new, heal the wounds, and give you a fresh perspective, turn the scars into testimony, your story might just give someone hope.

God says “before I formed you in the womb I knew you” before you were born he sanctified you and ordained you. You’re his idea and final product, he knows you and how you operate. The viruses of this world could have stopped you from functioning the way he designed you, but the manufacture God knows how to reset you to factory setting. Reset you to the original idea and still keep the essential things to keep you functioning successfully.

I find seedlings very refreshing and symbol of hope and a future, May He reset you and give you hope and future, for his plan is to prosper you and not to harm you, He came that you might have life and have it abundantly but the thief came to kill, steal, and destroy. Choose life today, choose Christ.
